Meet The Consultants

Glenda Augustine

Glenda Augustine is a Licensed Master Social Worker, educator, and mother of four who has somehow survived 30-plus years of parenting, college admissions, and group chats with her adult children. An engineer-turned-educator-turned-social worker, she brings both lived wisdom and hard-earned degrees to the table — including an MSW, an LMSW license, and a master’s in Distance Education and E-Learning.

As an educational consultant and associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), Glenda has coached students from kindergarten through college — and managed to launch all four of her own into highly competitive colleges without completely losing her mind. She has served on an Education Commission, sits on the Board of Cool & Dope (a nonprofit fighting bullying), and is certified in executive-function coaching, because someone has to remember the deadlines.

After a 30-year marriage and a divorce, Glenda enhanced her focus, redirected her energy, and built a career grounded in helping others navigate academic, emotional, and very real-life challenges. She has worked in school-based mental health, supported families through turbulence, and continues to be the voice of reason, humor, and “you’ve got this” for anyone dealing with life’s messier chapters.

From diapers to degree, AP classes to applications, heartbreak to reinvention — Glenda brings the kind of life-tested perspective that makes people ask, “Can I just call you every time something goes wrong?”

Esperanza
T. LaRoche

Esperanza brings a unique blend of corporate leadership experience and deep personal advocacy to her work with families navigating  the transition from high school.   A  mom of two young adults (ages 20 and 23), she has walked the non-traditional path alongside her own sons, learning that the journey from high school to "what's next" rarely looks like the brochures promised, and that's perfectly okay.

With over a decade of experience in Family Advocacy and Resource Management, Esperanza has completed extensive continuing education in neurodiversity, executive functioning, and educational law, applying insights to support families in navigating academic, clinical, and systemic resources.

Whether your student is headed to a four-year university, community college, trade school, or directly into the workforce, she helps families create actionable plans that honor where their student is now and build bridges to where they want to go. She's here to walk alongside you with empathy, expertise, and the kind of real talk that only comes from living it yourself.
