Blog #34: Even Though It's Summer, There Are Still 4-Year Colleges Accepting Applications!

Updated: Aug 16, 2022

Do you have a student who graduated from high school last spring but didn't apply to college? Are they now interested in attending college but think they have no options for attending? Well, you may be surprised to find out that there may still be colleges accepting applications and enrolling students in the fall of 2022, even at this late date.

The National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) posts an Annual College Opening Update. In its 34th year, this is a voluntary listing of NACAC-member post-secondary schools still accepting applications from prospective first-year and transfer students for this fall. This tool for counselors and parents can assist students who have not completed the college admissions process but are interested in enrolling in college. The portal is updated daily and available here: National Association for College Admission Counseling- College Openings Update (nacacnet.org) or Just click the button above. You can search colleges by state and based on the need for financial aid and on-campus housing.

If you are interested, hurry and check it out now!
